Portable barcode scanners are currently available as key-chain attachments, and as cell-phone adjuncts. Hopefully, Quing-It.com can help by providing access to web data about a particular product within a few seconds of scanning the product identification symbol. Future plans include web applications and product ingredient rating systems; to allow internet-enabled devices (cell-phones, PDA's, laptops, PC's, multi-purpose handhelds) ready access to produce a SAFE, CAUTION, or UNSAFE summation for a particular product's collection of ingredients. Consumers can access the site inside the store; before purchases are made. That way, consumers will know what is safe and what is not, and can buy products based on informed, intelligent decisions, instead of simply accepting something they know little or nothing about. The long-term purpose of Quing-It.com is to help consumers better understand just how much they are adding to their body-burden by using some of the toxic or otherwise damaging products being sold as safe in today's profit-driven markets. Otherwise, consumers are left with confusion and lack of knowledge; most people cannot even pronounce some of the product ingredients seen on some of the labels, let alone understand what those ingredients are, and what they might be doing to our overall health. Quing-It.com is currently under construction, but already the Link Dashboard can provide ready-access to a number of helpful websites, giving consumers a place to go for easy Querying Ingredients even now.
